Hi all and welcome to my blog for DAB310, project 1.
For the submission we were given a list of houses from which we were to choose our 3 favourite to further research and deconstruct in regards to a house as a human container, a house as an environmental filter and a house as a delightful experience. After researching these 3 houses we were then required to select our favourite to use as an exemplar house; which we then used as inspiration to make our own design of a cabin for that architect, trying to replicate the style in which they design.
In this blog you will find the 3 houses I chose to research (Tugun Residence - Gold Coast, Casa Tolo - Portugal and [EX] Sunrise Beach House - Sunshine Coast) and how they achieve the above requirements of being a human container, an environmental filter and a delightful experience. You will also find my own cabin design and the researching process of the site and architect I went through to come up with my final design.
